CNW President Art Spinella built the Miss QT for use at the company's Lakeside Conference Center which is boat-access only. The only jobbed-out work was electrical. "Electricity scares the tar out of me," he claims.)
The boat is constructed of mahogany framing including the dash and seats, cedar decking and bronze or brass hardware.
Here are just a few photos of the finished project.
The Flying Lady is a replica of a 1941 Cadillac hood ornament.
From left: bronze cleat (note bronze boat nails in deck), a wood-turned flag pole flying the infamous martini logo and the dash-mounted bottle opener to be used for colas only. Below: Stainless steel trim along the stern and sheer highlights the barrel back design.
